At United to Make Difference CIC, we are building a future where migrant communities lead the change they want to see. Rooted in anti-racism, care, and collaboration, our work empowers migrants—especially women and youth—to move from survival to leadership.
We share the funder’s commitment to creating a world based on respect, interdependence, and collective action. Our approach centres those with lived experience of the UK’s immigration system, ensuring their voices shape every level of our work.
We focus on:
Empowering migrant leadership through training in advocacy, public speaking, and community organising
Shifting power to migrant voices in decision-making and strategy
Challenging injustice by addressing root causes like the hostile environment and discriminatory policies
Building solidarity across communities for long-term systemic change
We embed anti-racist practice and prioritise wellbeing, reflection, and responsiveness in everything we do.
At a time of growing fear and division, our work transforms migrant communities from being seen as passive recipients of aid to active agents of change. This fund would help us expand our impact and continue building a more just, inclusive society—led by those who live its realities every day.
We are ready to contribute to a collective movement for justice—one where care, reflection, and courage guide us forward.
